I like interviews. You learn things you didn't know about the person. Sometimes even when they're your own kid. We have one daughter who is a graceful thinker and writer. She knows she's a writer, she's been doing it forever, some powers-that-be have told her she's a writer, too, and she's writing two books for them.
We have another daughter who is also a graceful thinker and writer, but she doesn't know it. But she does know she's wonderful at thinking about the purpose of her home and at helping women find contentment in how their home looks and feels, without being experts or spending bunches of money. She wants women to "have a sense of hope for their home and be freed from the myth of perfection." So she writes a blog HERE with an audience most book authors would love to have.
Anyway, the thing I didn't know about this daughter is she's way more obsessive about her online secret identity than I realized. So, I can't even use her name here or I'll turn into the evil dad who blew his daughter's cover. But I can give this clue: her mom (my wife) totally made up the name -- there's no other like it. Ha! So you'll never guess it and I get to keep talking to her.
The interview is HERE. My favorite part is where she says, "a home well loved is a beautiful home."
Cool! I will listen to this.
