Pray, and let God worry

I love that – Martin Luther said it.

Sometimes I forget to pray for something.  And then the time for the thing I was to pray for, like a meeting or surgery, passes and I remember I forgot to pray.  Sometimes I’ll just go ahead and pray right then, as if it was still before.  I figure God and prayer are not only in time but also in eternity and my prayer can still be applied to the thing as if it was before. 

I love that, too.
