That's me -- my NASCAR name. You combine the first names of both your grandfathers.
How 'bout your TV Weather Person name? Take your 5th grade teacher's last name plus a major city that begins with the same first letter -- "and now here's Burns Birmingham with our weekend forecast..."
My witness protection name would be Junior Jean (mother and father's middle names). Dad hated his middle name -- he always just used the initial "J." He didn't want anyone to know. So maybe mine should be J. Jean -- yeah, I like that better, and so would dad.

Brenda was still laughing last night about what Jon Stewart said on the Oscars and the name I would have -- Peppy Prudence. I like it that sometimes she laughs at things I wouldn't expect.
You know what broke my heart? When I tried to figure out her NASCAR name tonight, she couldn't remember the names of her grandfathers. They both died when she was very young. Why can't I remember their names? Maybe that's one motivation we have for wanting to be really involved with our grandkids -- you don't want them to not know who you were. Part of it is you want to be an influence with them beyond your own life, and part of it is just -- if anyone remembers your name it should be family.
Oooh -- she just remembered: Jim. Her mom's dad. OK, that's one. I hope when she remembers the other one it's a cool name like Jasper -- Jim Jasper sounds like he could keep up with Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson or...Dale Charles.
